Editing is editing is editing.
But still, every job is different. The best way to start is to send me an email giving me a general idea of your needs and what you want to accomplish.
Typically, we end up jumping on a Skype call pretty quickly so we can size each other up, ask questions, clarify points, and see if we’re a good fit. I’ll answer all your questions, tell you about similar projects, and show you any work you need to see.
Sometimes we’re a good fit, sometimes we aren’t. By the end of our call, we will both know if it makes sense to move forward. And I’ll have enough information to get you a quote and timeline for your project.
You may just need a quick proofread, or you may need full development editing. We can discuss your project and needs and decide where you fit on the editing spectrum.
I’m not the least expensive editor you’ll find – head to Upwork if that’s what you’re looking for. On the other hand, you get a lot more than just editing skills. You get the bonus of my 25-plus years in the front lines of high tech sales and marketing and a full understanding of that world.
I work best with companies whose standards, ethics, and expectations are on par with mine. The quality approach, although a bit costlier to execute, always wins.
But, don’t worry, budgets are never the issue, and you’ll find me easy to work with. I still have those rock-solid Midwestern principles and ethics.
And to ease your mind, I remove all risk on your part with my satisfaction-guaranteed policy – the job’s not done until you’re completely happy.
